Just like in previous years, I’m going to be doing weekly blog posts during NaNoWriMo. And this year, I’m going to be doing something a little different! Instead of just giving an overview of the week, I’m going to talk about each day individually and then do an overview. Since I haven’t written any words today, I’ll be saving that for next week.

Overview
Overall, I’m off to a pretty good start! I’ve figured out some things I wasn’t sure about, but I’m also starting to reach the point where my outline ends – I only have an outline up to chapter 4. It’s a very rough outline, where I summarize a chapter in one or two sentences, but it’s still helping me.
I’m going to continue with my goal of 2,000 words per day. With that in mind, I ought to reach 10,000 words tonight, after which I’ll do some outlining.
How are your novels going?
It’s my first year using an outline and it’s been really helpful for me! I have about 2/3 of the book outlined by chapter and I’m breaking down the outlines into scenes as I go.
That sounds great!
I’m below word goal, with no written outline and not bothering with chapters, but I’m pretty satisfied with everything I’ve written so far. 😊
That’s great to hear! 🙂
