Personal Target: 10,000
Words Written: 9,516
Only wrote 1,485 words. Started chapter 4, then realized it didn’t flow well with the rest of the novel. I scrapped by strikethroughing the entire thing. If this was a non-NaNo novel I’d have just moved the chapter to a different word document, but I didn’t want to lose any words.

Wrote 61 words because of that utter disaster of an election. I should probably reconsider doing most of my writing in the evening.

Overview
I’m going to drop my 60,000 word goal, because that means I would have to write 7,294 words today (Saturday) in order to get caught up. I can’t do that, because I will hurt myself. I don’t need constant numbness/pain in my hands and wrists.
I’m going to continue to write 2,000 words a day if I am physically able to. Some days, that may be the case. Some days, I may only be able to make 1,667.
How is everyone else’s writing going?
I was slowed down by the election, too. I’m sorry your hands hurt so much! I wonder if there are any speech recognition programs that might be helpful to you?
Oh, it’s not nearly that bad! Mostly, I just have to make sure I wear wrist braces and pace myself.
