<< Let’s Make a Conlang: Soleisu Week 2 | Let’s Make a Conlang: Soleisu Week 4 >>
This was a pretty busy week, and I didn’t get a lot of time to work on the conlang. I did, however, actually give a meaning to the word soleisu: river. Yep, this conlang’s name now means “river”.
I decide to remove /y/ from the phonology. It really didn’t fit in with the rest of the sounds in the language and I genuinely kept forgetting abou tit. Aside from lü, I didn’t use it in any words.
I also finally decided to work out adjectives. Adjectives precede nouns, and do not take any sort of special form. The adjectival form of a noun is formed with the suffix –ka. I’m thinking I might change this suffix to a prefix, given that every other affix in this conlang so far is a prefix.
